On September 14, the Tereny cultural agency will present Myroslava Barchuk's documentary film «Ukrainian Curse: Builders and Destroyers of the Empire» from the series «The Last War». This is the first public event of Tereny in Poltava.
The author of the film Myroslava Barchuk — a well-known Ukrainian journalist and TV presenter — called this film «final.» After all, it completes the documentary series about the Russian-Ukrainian war, which allows us to look at the events from different sides.
The discussion that will take place after the film will also be attended by the head of the Center for Human Rights and War Memorialization KSE, former — head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance Anton Drobovych.
Another participant in the discussion will be Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of Poltava University named after V. Korolenko Yuriy Voloshyn.
The conversation will be moderated by Zhanna Ozirna — director of the series «The Last War» and a film director known to everyone for the films «Honeymoon» and «Editorial Office».
The film screening will take place in the event space of Center 48.
As part of this event, the cultural agency «Tereny» will support the gathering of fighters of the 26th separate artillery brigade named after General-Coroner Roman Dashkevych, in which Poltava resident, journalist and lecturer at Poltava University named after V. Korolenko Serhiy Shebelist serves.
