On March 7 at 2:00 PM, a public conversation with Pavel «Patet» Belyansky — Ukrainian writer, blogger, screenwriter and currently a military man will take place at the Poltava Regional Library named after Kotlyarevsky (Nebesnoi Sotni St., 17).
During the event, we will talk about literature, war, personal experience of service and the author's path from blog to books.
Pavel Belyansky — author of the books «I work at the cemetery», «Grandmother didn't like to die» and «You can't retreat when fighting». Born into a military family. At different times, he worked as a freight forwarder, journalist, and later founded his own tombstone making workshop.
The author began his creative journey with a blog, which quickly gained a readership. The collection of stories «I work at the cemetery» later became the basis for the feature film of the same name, released in 2021.
The conversation will be moderated by the coordinator of the events «Tereniv», journalist and communications specialist Anastasia Matsko.
